The grappling hook is another new addition, and Ajay can use it to clamber up or abseil down vertical surfaces and swing across gaps. There are new land and water vehicles, like hovercraft and hilariously rickety tuk-tuks, but you’ll spend most of your travel time in the air. Gyrocopters have also been added, and they’re a lot of fun to buzz around in.

Both have wildly different opinions about how to take Kyrat back from Min's clutches, and you’ll have to step in occasionally to make their decisions for them, which affects the way certain missions play out. But you still care about his story, because he’s propped up by a memorable cast, including the two feuding leaders of the Golden Path, Amita and Sabal. Really, though, Min is the real star of the game, and Ajay feels more like an empty vessel for the player than a meaningful character.
